The Okinawan Hybrid Grappling Club is organized to practice for self-improvement,
fitness, and the enjoyment of training itself.
We are not organized to train for professional matches, prizes,or for tournaments.
The Okinawan Hybrid Grappling Club strives to maintain a friendly and family-like
atmosphere among the members of the club.
It is important to us to maintain an environment that is conducive to learning the
 many grappling techniques that exist.
In that respect,we emphasize safety for all club members to avoid injury.

Armbars, elbow locks, knee bars, ankle locks, shoulder locks, wrist kocks, and
chokes are all important and acceptable techniques.
Small joint manipulation(bending individual fingers) and gouging/poking with
 fingers is prohibited.
